Professor Paula Jarzabkowski joined a panel session on “The role of catastrophe risk insurance programmes for underinsured perils” at the OECD-ADBI Roundtable on “Insurance and Retirement Savings in Asia” on 29 June 2021. Moderated by Leigh Wolfrom (Policy Analyst, OECD), the session examined the potential role of catastrophe risk insurance programmes, including insurance pools and loss sharing arrangements between insurers and governments, in supporting broader levels of insurance coverage for catastrophe perils.
