Professor Paula Jarzabkowski talked at a webinar on “How Much ‘Skin in the Game’? Public-private solutions to pandemic risk” hosted by The Geneva Association on 12 May 2021. As governments and insurers have been searching for the right partnership approaches to insuring pandemic business interruption risk, The Geneva Association hosted a webinar to support ongoing discussions and discuss the new report, Public-Private Solutions to Pandemic Risk. 

The webinar explored four exemplary types of public-private pandemic risk solutions, as well as partnership proposals currently on the table in different jurisdictions and where they stand. The participants include Kai-Uwe Schanz, Head of Research & Foresight at The Geneva Association; Paula Jarzabkowski, Professor of Strategic Management at City, University of London; John Fielding, General Counsel, Government Affairs at Chubb; Robert Gordon, SVP Policy, Research & International at APCIA, and Ivo Menzinger, Managing Director, EMEA Public-Sector Solutions at Swiss Re.
