Professor Paula Jarzabkowski’s recent masterclass on pandemic and insurance, in which she draws upon her research to consider what we can learn about insurance and insurability from the COVID-19 pandemic was featured on the Association of British Insurers’ (ABI) website, a trade association of the UK's world-leading insurance and long-term savings industry, and Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation’s (ARPC) website, an Australian public financial corporation established by the Terrorism Insurance Act 2003 to administer the terrorism reinsurance scheme.

Paula Jarzabkowski and her team are collaborating with the ABI and other industry and government partners on a new project to develop solutions for sharing the risk of pandemic business interruption (BI). She is also developing a research paper commissioned by ARPC through the University of Queensland which examines insurance market gaps in relation to terrorism.
