In August 2024, Professor Paula Jarzabkowski received the Academy of Management’s Joanne Martin Trailblazer Award in acknowledgement of her role in developing Strategy-as-Practice and building a community around the theory. Professor Jarzabkowski said she was delighted at this honour, noting that “It clarifies that Strategy-as-Practice, has become a robust and important field of research over the past 25 years."
